Wild Food Foraging Map

Exciting news!

Eastleigh Transition Network have now partnered with a local forager from Southampton (please check his website Urbane Forager - http://urbaneforager.btck.co.uk/ and blog http://theurbaneforager.blogspot.com).

Alan has kindly agreed to share with us a map he has been developing which shows locations of wild food around Eastleigh and Southampton. So instead of buying apples from South Africa and New Zealand, print out the map and go pick some yourself! This map is really fantastic and easy to use.

If you know of any locations where you have seen local free wild food, please use the below form to submit to us and we’ll plot it on the map!

Please leave your comments, and let us know how you get on!

You’re so cool! I don’t suppose I’ve read anything like this before. So nice to find somebody with some original thoughts on this subject.

This website is something that is needed on the web :-) Useful job for bringing something new to the internet!

    Best regards Alex
