Eco-Centricity is an fantastic example of recycling, upcycling and reusing through arts and crafts. It is an emerging arts shop in the New Forest area. The shop currently offers low cost recycled materials through The Scrap Store, which can be reused through creative activities and play.
The store also stocks a range of recycled crafts, handmade in store by Michelle Morgan, an eccentric local craftsmaker. The crafts aim to show the many uses for recycled materials, and inspire people to make their own. You can purchase some of Michelle’s creations online, so if you’re looking for locally handmade presents, make sure you visit the site!
Michelle hopes to run some recycled/upcycled workshops in 2012 and we are currently in talks to run these through Eastleigh Transition Network, so stay tuned!
