Fungal Foray: 25th September

On Sunday 25th September, ETNet and TCF ran it’s first Sustainability Locality Workshop, a Fungal Foray in the woods of Valley Park, Chandlers Ford. The event was supported as part of the O2 Think Big funding received.

The event was a fantastic success, as we had a great turn out of people, fantastic weather, and we found a vast diversity of mushrooms in the wood. Having never done one of these forays before, it was unsure of how the event would go, but it was great fun – we were given 10 minutes to go out and explore the woods to see what we could find, and then return on the blow of a whistle to review our findings!
