Catherine Chatters, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust’s New Forest Non-Native Plants Officer, will give an illustrated talk on recent work to control the spread of invasive non-native plants along watercourses in the New Forest. Find out about the similar problems facing us here on the Monks Brook in Chandler’s Ford and Eastleigh and our plans to tackle them. Stencilling Textiles workshop

Creating stenciled fabrics is a great way to customize and personalize a wide range of materials. Students will learn how to create a stencil and then experiment with a range of techniques. Bring a new lease of life to an old favorite or create a unique piece of fabric art. A selection of natural materials including cottons and silks will be provided. Handmade Paper using Recycled Materials workshop

A fantastic way to reuse old scraps of paper that you would otherwise throw away.
Students will be introduced to a range of techniques enabling them to create a range of handmade papers from recycled and natural material which can then be used to create a wide of range of craft projects. Eastleigh Market Stall – We have held successful Market Stalls in central Eastleigh, when members of Highbridge Farm Community Project and ETNet link up to offer freshly harvested local produce for sale – and share information on food growing, recipes and ideas for sustainable living. We’d like to do this again if people are able to help this year.

Carbon Conversations
Small groups of people gather together to follow short course on low-carbon living. If we have six to eight people we can arrange a course in the local area.
