Worldwide, approximately one third of what we eat is naturally pollinated by bees. Most of the fruits, including apples, pears, raspberry's, plums, cherries and strawberries are reliant on these tireless workers for their pollination. Did you realise that the small honey bee can visit up to 1000 flowers a day? Imagine if we had to do that job ourselves with little brushes.
