Dear Laura,

Sorry, we do not have a full list. Perhaps best to contact Chandlers Ford Parish Council as they organised it: http://www.chandlersfordparishcouncil.org.uk

I just wanted to ask do you think it is a good idea to get people to buy nesting tubes which already have cocoons?

These would not be locally adapted bees and thus may bring damaging consequences to the local bees. Please buy the nesting tubes without cocoons as these are not needed. Once the bees have found your nesting tubes there would be no stopping them - it is much better to encourage local bees than to spread 'non native' genes within local populations - look at the plight of the honey bee for the possible outcomes of this activity.

Bee-keepers and scientists are still unsure what is causing the disappearance of so many bees, but the sad fact is that the bees are still disappearing at an alarming rate all over the world. Worldwide, approximately one third of what we eat is naturally pollinated by bees. Most of the fruits, including apples, pears, raspberry's, plums, cherries and strawberries are reliant on these tireless workers for their pollination. Did you realise that the small honey bee can visit up to 1000 flowers a day? Imagine if we had to do that job ourselves with little brushes.

I am interested in coming along to one of your events. I coppice a woodland in the New Forest and make wooden products from the hazel. At woodland craft events I can provide demonstration of traditional besom broom making. Would you be kind enough to contact me to let me know if you are holding any future events as I would be interested in attending.
Many thanks
Regards
Dave

Hello,

The World Development Movement have cancelled their surgey appointment with Chris on Friday so they shan't be coming to see him.

Chris is always happy to meet constituents who have issues they would like to raise with him. However, to ensure the privacy of these constituents, this is arranged via an appointments system.

If constituents of Chris' would like to meet at a surgery appointment, please do contact the office on 023 8062 0007.

Unfortunately, there will be no opportunity to meet with Chris on Friday.
